Welcome to the new school year! My name is Gale Royal-Morris, and I am honored to serve as the Assistant Principal at Kerrydale Elementary School. I am excited to join the Kerrydale community and bring my experience as a classroom teacher and school administrator to support students, staff, and families.

My greatest passion is helping children discover a love of learning and a belief in their own potential. I believe that every child can achieve great things when they are supported, encouraged, and held to high expectations. Each day, I am committed to helping our Kerrydale Cardinals grow academically, socially, and emotionally while fostering a sense of belonging in a school community where every child feels loved, valued, unique, and worthy.

I aim to help every student understand that they are capable of achieving anything positive they set their mind to. Success is within their reach, and together we will help them overcome challenges and recognize their strengths.

Please know that I am here for you and your children. Building strong partnerships with families is important to me. I communicate regularly through School Status, which allows for direct communication through text messages and email, with translation features available for families. I am also available for you by phone, Zoom, or in person.
